New Series Commemorates 10th Anniversary of First Gallery Show. From November 1996 to February 1997, James Russell Loiselle exhibited two of his digital prints alongside the works of American modern masters such as Dale Chihuly, Herb Jackson, and Karen Kunc in a Group Show entitled, "Stripping An Idea - Recent Abstract Works" at the Blue River Gallery in Jacksonville, Florida (click here for show details). Jane Craven, the owner of the gallery, went on to become the President of the Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art (JMoMA). Inspired by this original gallery show, James Russell Loiselle has been working on a new series of work entitled "Island Abstracts" which will be released as a very small limited edition designed especially for collectors.
