James Russell Loiselle is a San Diego artist who has been working with the digital medium for the past ten years. His digital works have been exhibited on both the East Coast and West Coast of the United States. Selected venues for his work include the Blue River Gallery located in the historic Five Points District of Jacksonville, Florida, Gallery 680 in Little Italy, Sharp Studio Gallery in North Park, the San Diego Art Institute in Balboa Park, the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, and several local corporate settings. James is a graduate of the University of San Diego and San Diego State University.
James' work is inspired and heavily influenced by the beautiful Southern California landscape complete with its gentle rolling hills, dark mountains, serene lakes, and ocean sunsets. The beautiful islands and coastal towns that he has visited throughout the world also influence his work. James' works attempt to capture those elusive and fleeting moments in nature when the elements align in perfect collaboration to create a living masterpiece that touches and stirs the soul.
James' most recent release is the Ethereal Islands Collection, which is a 31-piece body of work that is being marketed and sold in a limited edition format.
